The terms that apply when you use this website and our services. Please read them carefully — using the site or buying a service means you accept them.

Welcome to Dear Hiring Manager. This website and our services are provided by Solution Head Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Dear Hiring Manager (“Dear Hiring Manager”, “DHM”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using this website or purchasing any of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or our services.
Dear Hiring Manager provides career services to job seekers. These include digital services delivered online (such as CV Optimisation, and — as they launch — LinkedIn Optimisation, Job Search Strategy, Interview Preparation and cover letter support) and one-to-one career coaching. We offer guidance and support with job applications, interviews and job search strategy.
The content on this site is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
You agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. We may update, change or remove content at any time without notice. We try to keep the site available and accurate but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Our services help you navigate the recruitment process with strategy, structure and support. We work hard to give you genuinely useful, high-quality work. However, the outcome of any job search depends on many factors outside our control, including the wider job market, the roles you apply for and the decisions of employers. For that reason we do not guarantee interviews, job offers or employment outcomes, and any actions you take based on our work or coaching are your decision and your responsibility.
Our digital services (for example CV Optimisation) are bespoke products prepared specifically for you based on the information you provide through our intake form and any follow-up questions. We tell you clearly what is included and what the price is before you buy.
After you pay, you receive a personal link to our intake form. Once you submit your information, we may come back to you with follow-up questions before we begin the work. Turnaround times we quote (for example, delivery within a stated number of working days) begin once you have completed your intake, including responding to any follow-up questions we ask — not from the moment of payment.
Our one-to-one coaching is delivered through live sessions booked in advance. Payment for coaching sessions or packages must be made in full before the service begins. Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements for coaching are set out in our Refund Policy.
The optimised CV, report and supporting documents we produce are created using the information you provide to us, including your uploaded CV and your answers to our intake form. We do not independently verify your employment history, qualifications, skills, dates or achievements, and we rely on the information you give us being complete, accurate and truthful.
It is your responsibility to read the finished CV and accompanying documents carefully and to satisfy yourself that every statement in them is accurate, genuine and a true reflection of your experience, skills, education and qualifications before you share them with any prospective employer, recruiter or third party. If you identify anything that is inaccurate, out of date or that you do not wish to include, contact us and we will amend it.
By sending or otherwise using your CV or other documents with any third party, you confirm that you have reviewed them and that their contents are true and accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage or consequence arising from any statement in your documents that is inaccurate, misleading or unverified, or from your use of the documents before reviewing and confirming their accuracy.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or our liability for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded (see section 14).
All service fees are shown clearly before you buy. Prices for our digital services are shown exclusive of VAT where stated; VAT is added at checkout at the applicable rate. Solution Head Limited is VAT-registered and VAT receipts are available.
Payment must be made in full before a service begins. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details. Where you use a valid discount or voucher code, the price payable is the discounted amount shown at checkout.
Your cancellation and refund rights depend on the type of service and are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary:
None of this affects your statutory rights if a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or is otherwise faulty.
Our digital services use AI tools as part of how we prepare your documents. A qualified member of the DHM team reviews and approves every deliverable before it is sent to you — the AI does not deliver work directly to clients. The information you provide is sent to our AI provider solely to produce your documents. See our Privacy Policy for details of which providers we use and how your data is handled.
To deliver our services we rely on trusted third-party providers, including for payments, form collection, automation, AI processing, document storage and delivery, and client record-keeping. These are listed in our Privacy Policy. Each provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of these providers, but we take reasonable care in selecting them and in how your data flows through our process.
All content, branding, templates, frameworks and materials on this site and within our services belong to Dear Hiring Manager (Solution Head Limited) unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, resell or redistribute our materials, methods or templates without our written permission.
The finished documents we prepare for you (such as your optimised CV) are yours to use for your own job search. Our underlying templates, processes and report frameworks remain our property.
You agree not to misuse this website or our services, including by submitting unlawful, false or misleading information, attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or using our services to create documents that you know to be untrue. We may decline to provide, or may stop providing, a service where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
This website may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any of your rights as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that arises from information you provided to us that was inaccurate, incomplete or unverified, or from your use of documents before you have reviewed and confirmed their accuracy (see section 6).
We do not exclude or limit our responsibility for the quality of our own work. Where we are liable, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in line with UK data protection law. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of what we collect, why, and how we keep it safe.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and the “last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. The terms that apply to your purchase are those in force at the time you buy.
